Selentia Q. Moore is a seasoned theater arts educator, writer, producer, and director with over 35 years of experience. She is the founder and director of Wisdom Arts Company Inc. and The Big Dreams Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and creative development of children and youth through performing arts.

1. Workshop Overview:
THE BIG DREAMS PROJECT YOUTH Performing Arts Workshop is designed to engage participants in the exploration of performing arts, focusing on acting, public speaking and creative movement. Through an immersive experience, this workshop will encourage creativity, self-expression, collaboration, and skill development.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of the art form, developed new technical and artistic skills, and demonstrated their learning through the presentation of the historical production of THE CHILDREN MARCHED, based on the 1963 children’s crusade for civil rights in Birmingham, Alabama.
2. Workshop Objectives:

To introduce participants to the fundamentals of acting.
